Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the Subclass 189 visa, you must:
- Receive an Invitation to Apply – via SkillSelect
- Be under 45 years of age – at the time of invitation
- Nominate an Occupation – on the Skilled Occupation List (SOL)
- Points Test – Minimum 65 points required (age, English, work experience, education, etc.).
- Obtain a positive Skills Assessment – for your nominated occupation
- Meet Points Test Requirements(minimum 65 points)
- Demonstrate English proficiency(IELTS, PTE, TOEFL, or Cambridge English)
- Satisfy health and character requirements
- Agree to the Australian Values Statement
